of Central Wisconsin
WHO ARE LIBERTY LEADERS
We are a grassroots organization based in Portage County, Wisconsin. We are made up primarily of Conservatives with a sprinkling of Libertarians. We focus on trying to bring together like-minded individuals in our community so we can use our growing power in numbers to act locally and claw us back from the slide to the left before we fall off the cliff.
Liberty Leaders is not a specifically faith-based organization, but you will find that a majority of members are professing Christians and that all members recognize that the United States was founded on Christian principles and without this foundation we will not stand.
Liberty Leaders is proudly pro-life, pro-family, pro-Constitution and pro-America. We support Constitutional Law Enforcement, our military (active and retired) and community action.
- We do not care if you wear a mask or not.
- We do not care if you want all the vaccinations or none of them.
- We do not care what you look like or what your ancestors did or didn’t do.
- We do believe in individual choices and individual responsibility.
- We do believe in the parents’ right to raise their children how they see fit.
What makes us different from other groups?
We recognize that there is more than one way to skin a cat and that different approaches appeal to different people and personalities. Many of our members belong to multiple political groups and organizations.
The ‘Leader’ of Liberty Leaders is you. While Liberty Leaders has a leadership board and meets monthly, it operates primarily in a decentralized manner. We use our platforms and skills to make people aware of issues affecting us in Central Wisconsin, but ‘we’ have no power to make any person do anything or behave in a particular way.
When you see something that needs to be done or a problem to be addressed, we expect you, as a leader, to work to bring it to the attention of others and to be part of the solution.
Is Liberty Leaders Republican?
We are a non-partisan organization. While we have things in common with the Republican Party, we work with everyone at a basic level of how they view the basic roles of government and rights of the individual.
Many of our members are Independent and Libertarian.
We do not collect money for political parties nor do we donate to political parties. We reserve the right to donate to individual candidates.
The vast majority of our efforts go towards local (and therefore non-partisan) issues.
